The Diyala Journal of Medicine (DJM) was established through an agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, authorized by Letter Number 12c/2433 dated August 19, 2010. Since then, it has received manuscripts from various fields of medicine, including clinical medicine, surgery, and basic medical sciences. The Diyala Journal of Medicine is an open-access journal, with all articles available online immediately upon publication. Diyala Journal of Medicine publishes four issues annually (quarterly). It is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the College of Medicine at the University of Diyala in Baqubah, Diyala, Iraq. The University of Diyala is a government institution that operates in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq. Diyala Journal of Medicine holds both a printed ISSN (2219-9764) and an electronic ISSN (2617-8982). The journal's review process is based on a secure evaluation system, conducted by senior reviewers with relevant research experience. Articles are written in English with Arabic abstracts. The publisher and owner of Diyala Journal of Medicine is the College of Medicine at the University of Diyala.
